Politics Appreciates RTSH Song Festival: Begaj, Kurti, MPs, and Ministers of the Albanian Parliament Attend “Fest 63”

The 63rd Song Festival on Radio Television of Albania brought everyone together. Some attended in person, while others watched from their screens, captivated by the magic of the final show. The event attracted great interest, from the general public to notable figures who have left a mark in Albania and Kosovo.
The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, and the First Lady attended the festival closely. For the head of state, this event holds special significance, with a mission to unite all Albanian-speaking territories.
“As every Albanian, I hope it will be a successful festival, and the winner deserves the first prize,” said Begaj.
Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti and members of his government were among the special guests at the largest song festival in the country. Speaking to RTSH’s camera, Kurti emphasized that this event had been eagerly awaited by all Albanians and shared a wish for the future.
“I congratulate you for maintaining the tradition of Albanian music on public television, and it’s always a pleasure to return to Tirana. Our goal is for Kosovo to participate in Eurovision in the near future,” Kurti said.
Ministers and members of the Albanian Parliament also could not resist the festival’s magic, sharing reasons why the song event remains one of the most beloved in its 63-year artistic history.
It’s worth noting that the 63rd Song Festival has broken viewing records. It was broadcast on multiple frequencies of Radio Television of Albania, the main channel in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and in real time wherever there are Albanians through online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
