Today, on the Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, His Holiness Pope Francis received our Archbishop, Monsignor Arjan Dodaj F.d.C..

During this meeting, Monsignor Arjan acquainted the Pope with the program for the MED 24 meetings, which will take place in Tirana in September, marking the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’s visit to Albania.

Pope Francis expressed his joy for this initiative, promising his support and prayers for our people, who have endured much to keep the flame of faith alive. The Holy Father encouraged the Archdiocese of Tirana-Durrës to move forward with renewed vigor, engaging with courage and joy in new evangelization efforts.

The Pope sent his apostolic blessing to the Albanian Archdiocese.
