TIRANA, January 16 – President Bajram Begaj honored Ismail Qemali, the founder of the Albanian state and leader of Independence, on the 182nd anniversary of his birth.

On this occasion, Begaj called on all Albanians to unite in completing Albania’s European Union accession process. He emphasized that this goal continues the state-building vision of Ismail Qemali.

He added that Qemali’s aspiration, shared by the founding fathers, for a European Albania remains the only national strategy. Begaj stressed that achieving this goal must bring all Albanians together, without any distinction.
