The Faculty of Fine Arts (FAB) Gallery presents “Prestanome,” an evocative exhibition by renowned painter Helidon Haliti. Open to art lovers from today until March 25, 2025, the exhibition offers a profound exploration of portraiture beyond time.

As both artist and curator, Haliti describes “Prestanome” as an exhibition of portraits from a “timeless time,” a visual narrative that captures the essence of personalities who have shaped Albanian art, culture, and public life. Through the interplay of color, thought, and memory, the exhibition stands as a testament to an extraordinary artistic journey.

The showcased works were created during Haliti’s television program, “Between Two Worlds” on RTSH. While guests shared their life stories, he painted their portraits in real time, transforming each conversation into a pure act of creation. Thought and brushstroke moved in silent harmony, carving out both portraits and souls.

Today, these portraits come together in “Prestanome,” a collection that invites visitors to witness art as both memory and metamorphosis.
