Prime Minister Edi Rama strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on the United Arab Emirates. He called them a direct strike on the stability and prosperity of the entire Middle East.

He stressed that Albania stands in full and unwavering solidarity with the UAE’s leadership and people. Moreover, he noted that security in the Persian Gulf is not a local matter but a global necessity.

“Any attempt to destabilize the Gulf threatens not only energy routes and trade corridors but also regional peace,” Rama said. “It also endangers the wider balance of international security. Therefore, the international community must speak with clarity and unity.”

“The blind and desperate attacks by the Khomeinist Republic against the United Arab Emirates are not merely an assault on one nation. Instead, they strike at the core of regional stability, prosperity, and the hope that the Middle East can be defined by peace, not by war.

Targeting a peaceful oasis like Dubai with rockets of hatred exposes the true face of the medieval regime in Tehran. This behavior reflects a system destined to fail. It exports violence and uses terror to threaten its peaceful neighbors. Moreover, it aims to frighten its own people, who simply seek freedom.

The United Arab Emirates has become a global symbol of peace, dialogue, and economic dynamism. It also promotes interfaith coexistence and cultural vitality. The UAE shows what a modern Middle East can be—confident, connected, and forward-looking. Therefore, attacking it blindly means attacking the very idea of progress and cooperation in the region.

Albania stands firmly beside the UAE’s leadership and people. Security in the Persian Gulf, however, is not just a regional concern; it is a global imperative. Every effort to destabilize it threatens not only energy flows and trade networks but also the fragile peace architecture and international security itself.

The international community must, therefore, act with unity and purpose. State-sponsored aggression, missile attacks on civilians, and deliberate destabilization cannot be tolerated. A regime that kills its own people and spreads terror cannot have a place among the community of nations.

The way forward for the Middle East does not lie in rockets or revenge. It lies in mutual recognition, economic cooperation, and responsible leadership. Under the visionary guidance of President Mohammed Bin Zayed, the UAE has become a beacon of peace and progress. Meanwhile, those who choose violence and destruction must find themselves isolated from a world that values stability, cooperation, and peace.”
