Rama holds talks with Albanian ambassadors in countries affected by the Middle East conflict

Amid the escalating security situation in the Middle East, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with Albania’s ambassadors. The discussion focused on ensuring the safety of Albanian citizens in affected countries and maintaining constant communication with those living or traveling in the region. The ambassadors also addressed how to manage citizens’ requests and needs efficiently.

The proposed Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, emphasized the importance of staying in close contact with Albanian nationals in the area.

“It is essential to stay in touch and keep everyone registered,” Hoxha said. “They must be able to contact the embassy at any time. We will be there to assist them. The Albanian public service is not only fulfilling its duty but is fully committed whenever our citizens need help.”

Prime Minister Rama praised the diplomatic team for their readiness and stressed the need for real-time information.

“With this coordinated team, I believe we will receive updates in real time. Thank you for your commitment,” Rama said.

The government continues to monitor the situation in the conflict zones. It has established mechanisms to ensure quick support and accurate information for Albanian citizens in need.
