RTSH Symphony Orchestra Concert on May 9th, Featuring Works by Albanian and International Composers

Under the direction of conductor Eno Koço, the RTSH Symphony Orchestra will present its upcoming concert, showcasing a rich program of works by both Albanian and international composers.
A major highlight will be the world premiere of Symphony Albanoi by composer Vasil Tole.
“This concert is truly special, with a historic figure in Albanian music like Maestro Eno Koço, a very talented pianist from Kosovo, and a new piece like my Albanoi symphony, which has four movements. It’s a privilege to have the RTSH Symphony Orchestra performing contemporary Albanian music alongside renowned works from the global repertoire,” said composer Vasil Tole.
The program will continue with Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, to be performed by Kosovo’s talented pianist Artemida Qarri, making her debut with the RTSH Orchestra.
“The main piece is Vasil Tole’s large-scale symphony, and the second piece is Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a famous work performed by the greatest instrumentalists in the world,” said conductor Eno Koço.
The concert will be held on May 9 at 19:00 at the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Church in Tirana.
