“Shkodra Elektronike” (Electronic Shkodra) Duo at Eurovision: Choreography and Stage Outfit Same as in Fest 63 on RTSH

“Shkodra Elektronike” (Elektronic Shkodra) will represent Albania at Eurovision on Tuesday, May 13. In a Skype interview with the show “Miqtë e Pasdites” (Friends of the Afternoon), the duo of singers Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca shared their emotions ahead of stepping onto the magical stage.
Beatriçe and Kolë also shared some details about their performance at Eurovision, announcing that the song, performance, and stage outfit will be the same as those in Fest 63.
“The excitement is huge. We come from alternative music, and I never imagined I would participate in Eurosong,” said Beatriçe.
“Eurosong is the biggest stage in Europe; I feel small in front of it. I didn’t expect this success. It wasn’t even on my list of things to achieve.
Now, we are continuing with the work. I feel respect and honor for the people who love us on that stage. We’re working hard for everyone who gave us this opportunity. The style will be the same as at the festival. What you saw at Fest 63, that’s what you’ll see at Eurosong. The choreography will also be the same,” Beatriçe added.
While, Kolë shared that they will soon be coming to Albania to shoot the music video for their song “Zjerm” (Fire)
“I’m not emotional and I don’t feel ready for the Eurovision stage. Eurovision was never an objective for us; we never imagined it. We ended up there by chance. We will perform eighth on the first night, and I’m not superstitious.
The song will be the same; it will be in Albanian, and there won’t be any changes. We’ll be in Albania in mid-February for the music video.
We’re thinking about doing a tour to present the song—Manchester, Madrid, Oslo, London, and some other places,” Kolë Laca emphasized.
Albania will perform on the first semi-final night of Eurosong Contest 2025, which will take place in Basel, Switzerland.
After the draw, Albania has been assigned to compete on Tuesday, May 13, in the second half of the first evening.
Albania will be represented by “Shkodra Elektronike” (Electronic Shkodra) with the song “Zjerm” (Fire), which triumphed at the Festival of Light Song on RTSH last December.
The selection for the performance order was made randomly through the draw. From the five pots prepared by the EBU for the 31 participating countries in the semi-finals, Albania was listed in the third pot.
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom have qualified automatically without having to compete in the semi-finals. Likewise, Switzerland, as the winner of last year’s Eurosong edition, will not compete in the semi-finals.
The grand finale of Eurosong contest 2025 will take place on May 17.
