Shkodra Elektronike Qualifies for Eurovision 2025 Grand Final with “Zjerm”

Albania’s electropop duo, Shkodra Elektronike, has successfully secured a spot in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with their song “Zjerm.” Performing 12th in the first semi-final held in Basel, Switzerland, their blend of modern electronic sounds with traditional Albanian elements captivated both the audience and juries, earning them a place among the finalists.
“Zjerm,” meaning “fire” in Albanian, is a powerful anthem that intertwines themes of resilience and cultural identity. The performance featured symbolic staging inspired by the legend of Rozafa, with lead singer Beatriçe Gjergji donning attire designed by her mother, renowned stylist Irina Dema. The duo’s unique style, described as “Post Immigrant Pop,” has resonated with fans across Europe.
Shkodra Elektronike’s qualification marks a significant achievement for Albania, especially following last year’s non-qualification. With growing support and favorable odds, they are poised to make a strong impression in the Grand Final.
The Eurovision 2025 Grand Final will take place on May 17 in Basel. Fans are encouraged to support Shkodra Elektronike and “Zjerm” as they represent Albania on the international stage.
