Following its successful run at the National Theatre of Kosovo, Streha e Nemun, a production that has sparked interest and discussion, is set to premiere in Tirana at the Experimental Theatre “Kujtim Spahivogli.”

Directed by Ilir Bokshi, the play places the female experience at its core, exploring the challenges women face in contemporary society. Streha e Nemun promises a modern artistic approach, where minimalist staging and rich symbolism deepen the audience’s emotional engagement.

Blending humor with tragedy, the performance not only invites reflection on life’s choices but also opens an important dialogue on the emotional struggles of modern existence.

Theatregoers will have the chance to witness the compelling performances of Albulena Kryeziu, Ledion Zoi, and Adrian Morina on April 3 and 4.

Based on the renowned work Liza në Maj, the play follows Lajzelota, a 35-year-old nurse, as she navigates the pursuit of love and emotional fulfillment. Through her journey of longing, disappointment, and self-discovery, Streha e Nemun offers a profound meditation on the nature of human relationships.
