Strengthening Ties: President Begaj Meets Albanian-American Cultural Ambassadors

The President of the Republic opened the doors today to a group of Albanian-American children visiting Albania to celebrate Independence Day.
The group, consisting of traditional dancers, is part of the “Albanian Roots” association, led by Marko Kepi. Originating from Albanian territories and based in New York, the students and representatives of “Albanian Roots” have preserved their native language and ancestral traditions.
President Bajram Begaj expressed his admiration for the group’s dedication to maintaining a strong connection to their homeland and heritage. He commended their activities and emphasized the importance of collaborations and future visits to the welcoming table of “Albanian Roots” in the United States.
In recognition, Marko Kepi presented President Begaj with an award on behalf of the association, thanking him for keeping his promises and for his commitment to the Albanian nation and its people.
