The National Theater of Opera and Ballet will launch for the first time on Friday the Theater Academy, a professional music program, which focuses on the artistic mastery of young talents in classical art.

Participating students will be trained by professionals in the art of music, among them the internationally famous Albanian soprano, Ermonela Jaho, who returns to Albania just for the opening of this Academy.

“Theatrical Academy”, the first professional music program in Albania, which focuses on the artistic mastery of young talents of classical art, especially in the lyrical discipline, starts in a few days at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.

These masterclasses are built on the basis of the most successful international experiences. Students selected through several auditions will have the opportunity to be trained in stage performance, vocal technique, specific style training and the interpretation of Italian “Bel Cantos”.

Part of the Academy’s staff will be professionals in the art of music, opera and ballet, but also prominent figures, such as the iconic soprano of international fame, Ermonela Jaho, who also holds the office of the chairman of the board.

The Theater Academy is a very good opportunity for the young participants, as talents can stand out, for which an employment opportunity can be created, being trained with a professional platform of international standards.

For 2023, 5 study days are planned in the first season, which starts on April 14 and ends on April 18. While in the second season, which will be held in October, 4 study days will be held. After completing the masterclass, the artists will be provided with a certificate of appreciation.
