The University of Arts Tirana has launched the first edition of the International Student Film Festival in Tirana (ISFFT), which runs from 21 to 24 April 2026.

The festival aims to promote young talent in cinema and create opportunities for artistic collaboration, exchange, and professional development between students, lecturers, and film industry experts.

The program includes screenings of short films, documentaries, and animations, along with masterclasses led by film professionals, workshops, and panel discussions. It also features networking activities and opportunities for artistic cooperation.

Throughout the festival, a large number of international student films are presented in competition, reflecting current trends in student filmmaking.

The event begins with an opening ceremony and film screenings. The following days include masterclasses, workshops, discussions, and competitive screenings. The festival concludes on 24 April with final screenings and an awards ceremony.

Activities take place in various venues at the University of Arts, including the Concert Hall, Black Box, and faculty studios, with support from the Municipality of Tirana and the National Cinematography Center.
