The “Hapat” Theater Festival is back, running from December 3 to December 8, 2024, in Tirana. Organized by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation in collaboration with the National Experimental Theater “Kujtim Spahivogli,” the event highlights the best of Albania’s emerging theater talent.

This year, 11 productions from the Youth Theater Fund will be performed at major venues, including TKEKS, the Metropol Theater, and the Black Box Hall at the University of Arts. The festival also celebrates 66 performances staged across seven Albanian regions, engaging around 80 young creators and performers.

“Hapat” is a competitive event, with awards for Best Play, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, and more, to be announced at a closing gala on December 8. The festival reinforces Albania’s commitment to nurturing youth theater and expanding its cultural reach nationwide.
