Berat hosted the fifth edition of the “Wine and Stories” Wine Festival, bringing together hundreds of local and foreign visitors. Albanian wineries joined wineries from Kosova and representatives of Italy’s Arbëresh community.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from the event on social media. He described the festival as an example of Albanian wines, tradition and guests from Kosova and the Arbëresh community coming together around a shared identity. He said the event also supports local identity and the local economy.

Meanwhile, visitors sampled Albanian wines and enjoyed music, artistic performances and stories about the history of Berat, known as a museum city. The festival promotes Albanian wine alongside Berat’s traditions and cultural heritage. It also aims to support experience-based tourism and agrotourism in the area.
