The Hungarian Cultural Week, held from September 1-6, will be marked by enchanting sounds and traditional performances

The International Cultural Weeks will continue from September 1-6, showcasing Hungary through concerts, exhibitions, performances, and a variety of entertainment.

Blendi Gonxhja, Minister for Economy, Culture, and Innovation, shared a promotional video highlighting the Hungarian Cultural Week. This event will feature live concerts, traditional folkloric performances, and impressive exhibitions of glass sculptures and paintings.

“We are back with the International Cultural Weeks, this time presenting the Hungarian Cultural Week from September 1 to 6. The enchanting sounds of live concerts and traditional folkloric performances will fill Tirana, Elbasan, and Vlorë with vibrant energy. Additionally, special events like Chess Jazz and Rubik’s Cube will offer something for everyone,” Gonxhja said.

The Minister also encouraged citizens to explore the glass sculpture and painting exhibitions, participate in unique artist workshops, and experience classical music rhythms and Beatbox battles.

“Are you ready to dive into Hungarian culture? Follow us and be part of each special moment,” Gonxhja added.

The third edition of the International Cultural Weeks began on May 1 and will continue until November, featuring a wide range of activities from 20 countries. The event will animate theaters, art galleries, and public squares with rich cultural programs.

The series started with “Europe Week” and includes events from countries like France, Greece, Italy, Israel, Brazil, Hungary, the Netherlands, Turkey, the United Kingdom, China, Germany, Japan, the USA, Austria, Spain, Montenegro, Mexico, and Kosovo.

The International Cultural Weeks began as an initiative by the Ministry of Culture in 2022, with the goal of promoting cultural exchange, showcasing traditions, and inspiring innovation. This project strengthens relationships between countries, enhances cultural offerings in Albania, and appeals to audiences of all ages. The program transforms Albania’s cultural landscape into a vibrant, multicultural, and interdisciplinary stage.
