Construction work is ongoing in Lezhë to create a multifunctional memorial space in the birthplace of Father Gjergj Fishta.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos on social media today, showing the progress of the building that will host both local and international artists.

“A multifunctional cultural and recreational building in this historic and naturally stunning location will include dedicated spaces for artist residencies, creative sessions, and exhibitions. It will welcome local and foreign artists and host various cultural and educational activities, and much more,” Rama writes.

The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation in collaboration with the Albanian Development Fund.
