Albanian composer’s new piano concerto to receive world premiere in Tirana

The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will present the world premiere of “Concerto Trinitas I, II, III” on November 3, bringing contemporary Albanian music to the concert stage.
Pianist Amir Xhakoviq and conductor Ermir Krantja will perform the new work, composed by Vasil S. Tole, together with the Symphony Orchestra.
The concert will combine the energy of a piano performance with the power of a full symphony orchestra. It will also highlight the contribution of Albanian composers to contemporary classical music.
Meanwhile, the programme will feature two well-known works from the international classical repertoire: the overture to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera “The Marriage of Figaro” and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s fantasy overture “Romeo and Juliet”.
Through this performance, the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet aims to bring together classical traditions and new musical creations. The concert will also give audiences an opportunity to discover a new work by an Albanian composer.
The performance will take place on the evening of November 3.
