“Lumina Electronik” debuts in Korçë, offering electronic music and adrenaline for tourists

The spectacular show of lighting, projection, and music, Lumina Electronic, energized the youth of Korçë and numerous visitors over two consecutive nights this past weekend, turning “Rinia” Park into an electrifying arena.
This unique festival in our country was held for the first time in Korçë, merging music with technology and modern trends with the aim of promoting electronic music. It attracted visitors and fans of this music genre to the southeastern city from both within and outside Albania.
Events of this nature attract millions of visitors worldwide who book their participation well in advance.
Featuring renowned DJs, special projection shows, colorful lighting effects, fireworks, and other surprises, the first edition of this festival exceeded the organizers’ expectations.
Bledar Leka, a representative of “Tourism for Albania,” stated, “This festival is being organized for the first time in Albania. It is a fusion of electronic music and visual effects. This project aims to promote tourism. Korçë lacked a youth event. Through this event, we aim to attract as many young people as possible.”
He announced that “in September, we will prepare a traditional event. We will bring the serenades of Korçë to promote them beyond the local area.”
The event combined traditional elements in the characteristic alleys and balconies of Korçë, culminating in beautiful techno music performances by professional DJs.
This festival brought together various musical performers who created an electrifying atmosphere with their style and music late into the night.
“The festival attracted young people from all over Albania and the region, resulting in fully booked hotels. We promoted Lumina Electronic not only on the festival’s pages but also through many other communication channels outside of Korçë,” said Benila Themeli, Deputy Mayor of Korçë, to the media.
Lumina Electronic aims to become one of the most important events on Korçë’s summer calendar and beyond.
The atmosphere was particularly ignited by the well-known DJ Burak Yeter, who expressed his appreciation for the festival’s spirit and the location.
“The venue of this concert is beautiful, and I am very excited to return here. I have visited Korçë many times as I have many friends living here. I am very excited to perform here. I will definitely come back. The atmosphere is wonderful,” said DJ Burak Yeter.
“I love that there are such events and, above all, that the desire for electronic music is growing. It is a novelty as people explore different music genres. Korçë knows how to do both serenades and electronic music,” said another DJ.
The first edition of the Lumina Electronic Music Festival, combining music with visual art, created an unforgettable experience in the city of serenades.
The Mayor of Korçë, Sotiraq Filo, considered it one of the most beautiful summer festivals in Korçë.
“The municipality adds another summer festival to Korçë. With the support of the Albanian Development Fund as part of the Tourism for Albania project, the first edition of Lumina Electronic closed with great success. It will be organized every year in Korçë as one of the most important musical events on the summer calendar, aiming to attract visitors and fans of this music from within and outside Albania,” emphasized Filo.
