Throughout the summer months, the National Opera and Ballet Theater has delighted art enthusiasts with performances in several cities across Albania. The program, dedicated to various symphonic pieces and film music, has brought both spectacle and emotion to audiences.

“The summer tour is envisioned as a journey of the National Opera and Ballet Theater along the shores of Albania. The ballet has performed in various cities before the orchestra takes the stage in Vlora and Durrës,” said a representative.

The summer tour will continue throughout August, bringing the ensemble’s performances not only to Albanian citizens but also to the many tourists visiting Albania.

“August will see mostly the Folk Ensemble presenting our culture, customs, and traditions along all the shores of Albania,” they added.

In addition to the summer tour, the renowned soprano Ermonela Jaho will join the National Opera and Ballet Theater’s magical program, performing some of the most famous arias and overtures from Puccini to Verdi. The concert, “Return of the Swallow,” is scheduled for the evening of August 4.
