Operetta “Agimi” returns to the “Andon Zako Çajupi” theater after 7 years.

Seven decades after its first staging, the operetta “Agimi” returned to the “Andon Zako Çajupi” theater as part of MIK Fest, supported by the European Union Delegation to Albania.
Directed by Inva Mula, this work, first performed in 1954, once again conveyed love for life and country.
“We are proud that this year at MIK Fest, we support values that stand hand in hand with Albanian art, culture, and beautiful tradition,” writes the EU Delegation in a social media post from Tirana.
“Agimi” is the first operetta in Albanian creative history, composed in 1954 by Kristo Kono, “Artist of the People,” on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Liberation. The operetta, divided into three acts, depicts love, with its essence focusing on the triumph of love.
