Also a Category I Cultural Monument, Borsh Fortress, dating back to the 4th-3rd century BC, will see restoration and conservation work on its structures. This includes consolidation and restoration of the fortress, with specific attention to the mosque within its walls.

The restoration project will reinforce the building’s foundations and masonry, restore the roof and its structural elements, and renovate the stone masonry and floors, among other improvements.
