The concert “Summer Spirit” was held in Pogradec. The instrumentalists of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet Orchestra delivered an emotional performance, playing pieces from Zade’s “Delina,” Bizet’s “Carmen,” and other opera adaptations.

“This concert is a bit different from usual; we have always come with larger groups, but this time, we are presenting a wind quintet to bring a different type of music, with adaptations of ballets and operas. We started the summer tour in May and it will conclude in October, but in August, the folk ensemble will perform in coastal cities. We are closing the symphonic concerts here in Pogradec, and now the ensemble will continue with concerts featuring folk music,” said Elton Katroshi, Principal Clarinetist at the Opear House.

“It’s the first time we’re coming to this venue and we hope there will be more concerts. We have done more concerts in Durrës, but in this case, we also thank the Municipality of Pogradec,” added Enalda Gjoni, Principal Flutist at the Opera House.

The National Theater of Opera and Ballet kicked off its summer tour in May, traveling to various cities, while in August, the Folk Ensemble will continue the artistic journey with concerts in tourist-heavy cities.
