The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet (TKOB) will present “Samson et Dalila” at the Bulgarian theatre

The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet (TKOB) showcased its production of “Samson et Dalila,” one of its most significant recent works, on the international stage in Varna, Bulgaria.
This exceptional performance was directed by Paul-Emile Fourny and restaged by TKOB’s Ada Gurra, with scenography by Genc Shkodrani and costumes by Blerina Kokona.
TKOB director Abigeila Voshtina praised mezzo-soprano Vikena Kamenica’s performance, calling it the “cherry on top” of the production. In a social media post, Voshtina noted that Kamenica delivered an extraordinary portrayal of Dalila on the Bulgarian stage.
“This cultural and artistic exchange represents the Europeanization of TKOB, enriching experiences and elevating the theatre to international standards,” wrote Abigeila Voshtina.
